Theology According to Anna Grace

I picked Anna Grace up at school this afternoon and on the way home, she began to tell me about her day.  Now, there’s a little girl at school who is usually as happy as can be.  She is from Korea and her name is Winnie Lu.  I usually don’t hear stories about Winnie but today was an exception. Because, you see, she who is known as “the National Enquirer” had something to report.

AG:  Winnie Lu was crying.  She fell off the school bus bike and “skint” her knee.

Me: That’s too bad.

AG: Yep, she was crying and crying and she wouldn’t stop crying. Miss Kim said she was going to be okay.

Me:  That’s a shame. What else happened at school?

AG: Well, Winnie Lu fell of the bike and she was crying.

Me: Well, did you pray for Winnie?

AG:  No, there wasn’t any blood.  But Winnie was crying and crying.

Me: You can still pray even if someone isn’t bleeding.  Winnie was hurt.

AG: No, didn’t need to pray, there wasn’t any blood.   Winnie wouldn’t stop crying.

Me: Well, if Winnie was still crying, you can just pray for her and give her privacy.

AG: I didn’t need to pray, there wasn’t any blood.  Jesus is BUSY!

*sigh*

  1. Well…she’s got the right idea…but might be a little off in her theology!!
Too Funny!! Aren’t you glad that Jesus is never too busy!!

  2. AG can always be counted on for a good start to the day! And you know – how many of us adults don’t pray about the “minor” stuff because we don’t want to bother Jesus??
