The first tier of this little skirt experiment is taking forever to knit.  I’d tell you how many stitches I have in this round but then you’d write me mail, make me tink and I’d cry.  I’ll wait to see if it works then I’ll actually blow all your little minds with how many stitches there are on this bottom tier.

On another note, I’m using a 100% mercerized cotton.  I expected all sorts of splitting, painful hands an much whining but not so.  This stuff is actually just fine to knit with.  No problems at all.
