And…They’re Off

The last of the orders have been packed and my unhappy little post man will pick them up today.  (That little man…. boy he likes to grumble!!!).

Lots of events this week.  Some good (Anna Grace’s birthday) and some not good (the wicked, evil stomach thing).  I’ll catch up with posting here soon.

In the meantime I’m….

– trying to figure out the first step in restoring a floor loom that is currently sitting in my living room (happy, happy, joy, joy).

– reminding myself that my little trip to the ER was a “warning shot” and I better get my bags packed, make sure my advance directives (cheery!) are up to date, etc.

– wondering how I was completely caught up with laundry last weekend and now there isn’t a clean towel in the whole house.

– working on a baby surprise jacket which should be called a mommy surprise jacket (because I’ll be shocked if I actually make this thing work!).

– going to my baby shower.   Friends are throwing a shower for my friend Shelly and me (she’s due 2 weeks before I am) and today is the big day.  Anna Grace even got an invite.  She is excited but kinda concerned as to why all the mommies are going to Miss Kelly’s house to “take a shower for the baby”.  I have explained and explained and explained.  I officially give up.  Translation: I apologize in advance for anything odd that comes out of my child’s mouth today.

That is all!!!!

  1. Have faith in the pattern, sweetie. It really dos work out. Sort of like the magic of blocking, but in tiny sweater form. ;^)

Your postman should be thankful for the business.

Try to remember what she says so you can report back. ;^)

  2. Goodness, I would think the postman should be happy that someone is shipping soemthing and that he has a job…our “mail lady” says she is happy that anyone sends anything anymore, since volume is down.

  3. Yes indeed. Our postman complains all the time that volume is down, not up. Your guy needs to get a clue. Our poor UPS man is even worried that he might be out of a job.

    What’s your due date?

  4. Emily came out early. I remember specifically arguing with the people at the hospital, “I CANNOT have this baby today. I am not even packed! It’s just not possible!”
