I finished my project for the Red Scarf Project. I actually finished last week but didn’t manage to block it until last night.
Hey, they said mail it in January so technically I’m not late. The thing won’t be received until February but I mailed it at 5:15 PST on January 31st. The scarf is your basic red ribbed scarf. I used 1.5 skeins of Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool.
I leave you with some pictures of Anna Grace playing at Deep Lake yesterday. We went there so she could play outside. I froze (it was 31 degrees) but she decided to take her mittens off and toss rocks into the water. The two of us are on two different thermostats. I’m always cold. She’s always hot.
I can’t believe how fast she seems to be growing up. She’s lost her baby face and looks like a little girl…a very pretty one at that!
Way to go, stone thrower. I have always loved throwing stones into the water. We always vacation on some body of water and I always come home with a sore shoulder…sometimes two!
Peace!
Jan
She’s looking so grown up! And such pretty long hair (unlike Emma- sob!)
I used to think AG looked just like you but I see a lot of Dana in her in these pics…she’s gonna be a heatbreaker!
Are ya ready? Did you swatch yet? I’m dying to see how your yarn knits up!
At least she decided to stay out of the water since she was warm.
