I learned how to knit.
So… today is my knit-a-versary. I have been knitting now for 2 whole years. And, although he hates it when I say this…. Dana taught me how to knit! (OK… in his defense…Dana figured out the diagrams in the "teach yourself to knit" book that I dug out of the closet. I was in search of something to do because waiting for a hurricane is B-O-R-I-N-G! )
I knit a very short scarf that night and finished just in time. Not long after I was done it was time to run and hide in the closet until the storm finished passing over the house.
So… happy anniversary knitting needles… and yarn… and stitch markers…. and chart holders…. and……
Happy Knitting Birthday to YOU!!!! Very interesting post! Loved your Green river experience also!
August 13th is my birthday and I only knew half of what you had on the list. I’m proud that you learned to knit on “my day”.
Happy Knitting Birthday! I can’t remember the date I learned to knit. I also can’t believe that you have only been knitting for two years; you’re a better knitter than most “two-year olds”.
I also just cannot believe that Danny Partridge is 47. That is just so wrong.
Hope to see you tonight at Starbucks.
