Dana came home from work this afternoon and asked me if I had seen the weather outside. I told him I hadn’t and he said that this really weird thing happened as soon as he came into the city limits. He said this snow like sleet stuff was coming down all of a sudden but at the same time the sun was out.
So… AG and I went out…. without coats…. to see the snowy sleety stuff.
Here’s the stuff collected on our lawn and front walkway
Here’s some of the stuff on Dana’s sweater
Here you can see the stuff comin’ down….and AG deciding that it was too cold outside for her and she’s headin’ in!
A few minutes later I saw the neighbor’s grandson outside and asked him what this was, he says its sleet. I just thought sleet was bigger than that. But, on the other hand these little things are too big for snowflakes. Either way, very cool. Odd, but cool.
Sleet definately varies in size. You are too funny. Glad to read the AG meeting went well. Good job!
We had the same strange stuff – I think it’s hail, but not sure where the definition actually varies. My husband was in Kirkland Sunday and Monday and he said they actually had thunder and lightning. Very, very strange. Glad the speech therapy went well. We have a special needs son and believe me, we’ve had more conferences than I care to count!
