Yarn

Still in Hawaii……

When we were in Victoria I made some purchases.  We were in town less than 30 minutes when I spotted a yarn shop.  It was in this cool old building and was a really neat shop.  It’s called the Beehive Wool Shop.
I bought a hank of lace weight Sea Silk while I was there.

The brown hank is llama.  It is spun from the coat of some of the llamas that lived on the farm where we stayed.  It is very, very soft.  I told the owner I’d send her a picture of whatever I knit from it.  Now I have to decide what I want to make.

  1. What a fun memory for Hawaii! I like to purchase yarn on trips, too instead of the typical touristy stuff. Have fun! You are staying on a “farm” in Hawaii?
