What happened this weekend? Well…..
1. We celebrated World Grits Day here at the house.
2. Dana finished the taxes. Ahhhh….. refund. (Also known as "yarn money".)
3. We went to a World Grits Day celebration last night at Lorette’s house . We had so much fun. There was great company, great food and my daughter actually decided to discontinue her day long vow to whine constantly. She actually seemed to be having fun. Hmmm…..
4. This morning AG and I were feeling a bit under the weather. We stayed home and rested while Dana went to church. We rested up and were feeling much better by noon-ish.
5. I was about to burst with excitement as we listed some new stuff in the shop. We now have Mama Llama fibers in stock. And we’re the very first to carry Mama Llama Sock II. I just love the colorways and the yarn is so soft. I can’t stop looking at the stuff.
6. Found out our order from Dream in Color should be arriving this week. Sweet! Have to thank Lorette for introducing me to their website. Yummy, yummy colors.
7. There was this bright, glowing thing in the sky all day. Found out it was something called "sunlight". Had almost forgotten what that was like.
8. So much sunlight that we couldn’t let it go to waste. So we spent the afternoon up in Seattle and visited Alki Point/Beach which is the birthplace of Seattle. We also saw the lighthouse from the shore (the place was closed so that was the only way to be able to see it).
9. Anna Grace entertained herself by throwing rocks into the water.
10. I took lots of pictures. Wanna see?

Y’all have a good week.
Please promise me if you get in DIC sock yarn in Spring Tickle and Strange Harvest you’ll save em for me because for these I WILL break my Knit From Your Stash vows!
Oh, love the haapy spring pics too!
Heh heh. There’s not quite as much of that Mama Llama left in stock as you thought. The stash fast is officially over. How could I NOT order something with a color named Vino?
And I had to order 2 hanks to get the free shipping. You know how that goes.
I’ll get my grits pics up tomorrow.
Great pics! I love reading about the lighthouse lens (what they used/what they didn’t use) love the history. Nice list of items to read this monday oh, and those yarn colors!
