We’re getting back in to the routine of things and returned to doing Five in a Row. This week we’re reading They Were Strong and Good by Robert Lawson. One of the projects was to make a family tree.
Anna Grace and her Family Tree Project
When we were glueing on the picture of my grandfather (who passed away in January), Anna Grace pointed to him and said “he loves me very much”. That got me just a little bit teary eyed. It was a nice reminder to try and let some things go and instead focus on others. We’ll see how good of a job I can do with that in the coming weeks.
And the other event for the day? Guess what I finished??!!!??
Auburn Camp Shirt
Kinda appropriate that I finally got this finished on St. Patrick’s Day. Model shots coming in the next few days.
Aw, it takes a child sometimes to put things in direct perspective: yes, her g-grandfather DID love her very much, and that’s all that needs to be remembered, the love.
Your Auburn Camp Shirt is GORgeous! You have every right to be very proud of it!
