South! South! SOOOOUUUUTTTHHH!

Tropical Storm Gamma (Gamma… how silly does that sound)  is threatening to bully the state of Florida on Monday morning but each time you watch the weather reports you get a little glimmer of hope.  The little bugger seems to be heading a bit more south at each update.  This means that she might skim across the Keys but not really bother the mainland.  It definetly means that I will probably escape even the slightest of band storms (gotta hate those band storms) but I’m worried about Debi .  If there’s anyone in blogland who doesn’t need a tropical storm it’s her.  So, sorry Florida Keys, but I’d rather them take all the mess so the rest of us can stay storm-free.

My cold front turned out to be a bit of a rip off.  It was supposed to be nice and chilly for  a week or more.  I awoke this morning, however, to high humidity and 75 degrees at 8 am.  Not my idea of Autumn!  I’m hoping the mercury will crash again here in the next day or so.

The sale of our house is still progressing nicely.  And…. bonus….the house we really wanted in Enumclaw (and thought had sold) actually popped onto the market yesterday.  Apparently the sale fell through and Mrs. Hickenbottom (the owner) decided to list it with a realtor.  Dana went to look at it again today and we’ve made a contingent offer.  I’m not sure if she’ll be willing to take a contingency.  If not we’ll just have to wait and see if the house is still available when we can make a non-contingent offer.  We’ll see what happens!

Great news on the house…yours and the one you want to buy…didn’t I tell you from the start of all this to let go and trust, all the things that are “meant to be” would fall into place? :)
