How about a list?  (brain’s not working…got a headache…. the usual reasons you get a list!).

1.  I finished the socks.  And…. AND…. the coolest thing happened.  OK… those people (you know who you are) that obsess  are deeply concerned over whether the socks they knit are identical twins and not fraternal twins….. I’ve never been able to relate to that.  I’m WAAAAAY too lazy for that.  BUT… I finished these socks and I set them side by side and I about fainted.  They are identical twins and I had to do absolutely nothing to make them turn out that way.

Sock #2 is on top.  See how they are identical…. no thanks to me.  In other words…. Roxanne (the brains behind ZYG) ROCKS!

2.  The socks were a birthday gift for the BFF.  And she was quite pleased with them.  BUT we’ll have to see how she does as she has a history of being a teensy weensy bit allergic to wool (and all the knitters collectively gasp).  She wants to give them a shot.  I simply suggested she do so while holding her inhaler.  Afterall, I don’t want to have to look her sons in the eye in the coming years and say "yes…..I killed your mother by kntting her a pair of socks".  Just sayin’.

3.  Anna Grace is having another little surge.  Not really vocabulary but more just maturing of her language.  Sentences are more complete, etc.  And…. we stopped falling down quite as much.  I am starting to see the possiblity that one day she’ll get a new label…. Verbal Apraxia: Resolved.

4. Saw the most  bizarre event in a  college football game.  Watched FSU give up 4 consecutive interceptions in 10 minutes.  It. Was. Bizarre.

5. Oh…. back to the socks.  After I finished the socks I had a whole bunch of yarn left and Lisa’s feet aren’t much smaller than mine so…. I knit those socks to fit my own huge feet (size 10.5 thankyouverymuch!). Check out how much is left over.  I could totally knit AG a pair of socks.  I said it before, I’ll say it again…. Roxanne Rocks!

6. IKEA comes to Orlando tomorrow. Happy Happy Joy Joy.

7. I think I’ve changed my mind (there’s a shock!) about knitting the Flower Basket Shawl out of the Misti Lace.  I think I’m gonna knit it out of some of the SeaCoast Panda Sock.  Although… it is entirely possible that I’ll change my mind again.

8. Discovered a new delicacy.  Combining M &  M’s and Fritos (she says as her butt gets bigger and bigger and bigger and…..)

9.  We added Zephyr Style stitch markers and Zephyr Style patterns to the shop.
