My sockpal likes her socks. I can’t believe it. She likes her socks! I’m just floored. So… here she is. Introducing Jenn from the great state of Texas (lets hope she gets out of Rita’s way.) I’m feeling quite relieved from my sock-stress.
Not much knitting going on around here. I did some work yesterday on the appointment sock as I was spending way too much time going to appointments. Yuckers.
My big thrill this week has been the start of the new T.V. season….
Last week I had the joy of watching Survivor return although its becoming a bit obvious that they are attempting to “jump the shark” this season. So far I’m pullin’ for Stephanie again and I think the retired quarterback is pretty cool.
This week, however, has been just lovely…. a beautiful T.V. week…. it’s the season premiere of Arrested Development or “the best show on T.V. that you’re not watching”. Each year it earns all the awards and nearly gets cancelled anyway. Funniest show on T.V. I’m hoping the new time slot will keep it from the threat of being axed while at the same time not cause it to get watered down.
That said… I had great fun watching the premiere of My Name is Earl and this is now going on the TiVO lineup. If you missed it try to catch it next week. Too funny!
That sums up all that I’ve been “waiting for” this season. Yeah… there’s the usual stuff I like – CSI, Without a Trace, etc- but I don’t have them on my TiVO. But Arrested Development is one of those shows that I even love their reruns.
Also worth a TiVO mention…. Family Plots a show that’s so weird and I love every minute of it.
In the “TiVO Thumbs Down” category is this. I usually like David Spade but this really stunk. I thought it would be a combo of David Spade humor and The Daily Show format. Disappointed.
In house news… We actually had someone come today to see the house. It was a couple. We’ll see. They seemed to like the house but I don’t think they were actually house hunting. I think they may be “just browsing”.
Well… must go. Ta Ta.
I am so glad she likes the socks! They are beautiful!
Yes I do, I really really like them! And I finally posted a modeled shot – go look!
Thanks again!
Family Plot! Yes! They’re nuts, and sometimes I want to knock Rick, Melissa, and Chuck’s heads together, but it’s a fun show.
Hi Kris… your blog has reached Sydney, Australia! I look forward to reading it… keep it up! Oh… and how gorgeous are those sox!?!?
