Hello everyone.  We returned home early this morning.  We had a nice trip to Kauai.  Lots of sun, plenty of humidity and pretty scenery.  I also got a ton of knitting done.  Whoot!

I’ll be posting pictures of scenery and pictures of knitting.  Knitting with wool in Hawaii.  Whodda thunk it!

There is a mountain here that looks like a dragon.  Think dragon as in Puff.

There is great debate over the lyrics of the song…. do they speak of drug use or innocence lost.  Who knows but locals state that this area is the inspiration for the song regardless of whatever hidden meaning it may or may not have.

Ke’e Beach

Anna Grace wasn’t too please about playing in the surf.  I finally convinced her to come out a bit into the water a little bit.  Then a huge wave came in and knocked her over, she went under and she never went in the surf again.  *sigh*

Telemark progress shot.  At this point I was still working on the motif that goes on the upper chest.  I had lots of knitting time on the plane the day before and even more knitting time that evening when everyone could sleep but me.
