How about a list?

1.  Momma Wannabe arrived last night from North Carolina.  Looks like "moving week" has arrived.

2.  House hasn’t sold.  What else is new?

3.  Got a new cell phone, it’s a camera phone and I’ve been playing around with it.  You’d think I was twelve.

4.  Decided I wanted (for the first time in my life) to download a ring tone (see above: I am twelve).  What a time sink.

5.  Guess which song I got?   I’ve Got You, Babe.

6. Knitted 2 pairs of socks in one week.  Gave one to the speech therapist and one to the O.T.  Started to make both Monkey Socks but one of the yarns had such pretty colors that I decided it worked best as a stockinette stitch sock.

Monkey Socks

Collinette Jitterbug (color Lagoon).  Used size 3 circs.  Because the SLP’s foot is shorter than mine I thought I’d risk that the jitterbug would make it to the end of the toe.  Good gamble.

Knit using size 3 circs.

8.  Anna Grace has figured out what an iPod is and what it does.  She calls it an iPudder.  She’s also started to tell the cats (and occasionally her mother) to "chill".

9. We’re in the middle of another speech surge, this one is a biggie and it is freaking us out (in a good way, of course).  It started all of a sudden on Saturday afternoon while we were up at Sunrise.  What’s the deal…. mountain air pumped up the neurotransmitters??????

10. Sunrise was cloudy but we could see a smidge of the mountain.  We did see a waterfall that we hadn’t noticed before.

Here’s the waterfall.  It isn’t named.  The ranger said it is coming off of Frying Pan Glacier (named so because it is the shape of a frying pan).

11.  Dream in Color Classy Worsted has arrived and we got a small amount of Cascade Fixation as well.  I hope to have them up in the shop by tonight.  All other orders were shipped directly to Florida.

Well, I better return to packing and planning and such.  I suppose I can’t hide from such things forever.
