It has been quite cold here in Florida, but… it is supposed to warm up for tomorrow. Drat! Anyway, because we live in an older house that has a crawl space, our home is often about 10-15 degrees colder inside than it is outside. Yesterday we had high winds and temps in the 50’s to low 60’s but our wind chill was in the low 50’s to high 40’s at times. We actually had 40 mph winds. Anyway…. no matter how high you put the heat on you’re still cold in this house. Its a wet cold, goes right to the bone. So, today Anna Grace had a pajama day. I had layered her up before bed last night and I just let her stay in the same clothes. She didn’t seem to care.
I stayed up late last night knitting on Liz’s hat and I did some more today. Here’s the progress shot, I’m almost ready to start the decreases.
I went to see Sue, my hair person. She helped to return me to my natural blonde state. John’s lake is on the south side of Oakland and she lives on the far side of the lake from me. She’s got a shop at her house so it is quite nice getting your hair done with a great lake view.
A completely dull and uneventful day. How nice!
I used to love it when my girls had “jammies all the day” days —- so cozy!
have a wonderful holiday Kris!
