One Horse Town

While my mother was here she taught me how to use a pressure cooker (something that always terrified me.  The woman told me way too many stories about those things going all ‘splody with your food.)  She also taught me how to use the thing to make boiled peanuts.  We made some, we ate every bit of that first batch.  So, today Anna Grace and I headed to the farmer’s market and the produce market looking for more green peanuts.

Outside of the produce market was this little horse ride.  It looked just like the ones I used to ride when I was a kid.  In all honesty, the thing may actually be older than I am. Well, AG went for a ride and got a kick out of the thing.

Anna Grace goes “horseback riding”.

The rest of our day was spent doing odd and ends….and making up another big batch of boiled peanuts.  :-)
