I apparently was overthinking the whole pattern thing.  I never considered that sock designers didn’t design the first sock etc.

So it is official.  I will write down the instructions for the prairie skirt.  Now I have to find out what the standard sizes are for toddlers/preschoolers.  I can’t use AG’s clothes as an example because she’s waaaaaaay beyond standard height.  This will take some research but once I know that I’m good to go.
