New and Improved

We built another snowman.  This time Dana helped (which explains the sudden improvement in our skilz).

My mother sent us a snowman decorating kit as one of our gifts this year.  She chose the gift in response to my previous, and quite lame, attempt at snowman building.  This time Dana built the body, I filmed with the video camera and AG ignored the entire proceeding.  She did get involved with putting the face etc. on the snowman (snow panda).

In other events, my stepfather (according to my mother) appears to be "coming around" a wee bit.  He is responding to commands and making all sorts of his usual facial expressions (he’s a bit of a character).  We shall see what the future holds.

As far as knitting goes, here’s a photo of my completed socks (which are currently residing on my toasty tootsies).  They are knit using STR in Water Lillies.  I was afraid they were too big.  While they are a smidge roomy they aren’t too bad and I’m pretty happy with the finished product.

I did the picot edge hem trick that Lorette taught me.  Purdy, ain’t it???

Well, tomorrow is 2007.  May it be boring, uneventful, restful and quiet.  Oh….and knitworthy!
