Here’s a progress shot of Telemark.
Lots and lots of Lice stitch. The pattern calls for repeating the Lice stitch over and over and over and over…. until the thing is 8 inches shy of the final shoulder to hem length. I have about 7 inches to go. I’m still enjoying the pattern although I’m a wee bit tired of Lice stitch. I do, however, have this portion memorized so this is currently a t.v. knitting project.
In other news…. the cold that I caught from AG…. 2 weeks ago…. is still here and has now taken a turn toward the ugly. I caved. Went to the doctor. That was fun since I lost my voice yesterday so this little visit was done with lots of people saying "what?" and a wide variety of pantomimes. I now have drugs and renewed hope that my head won’t actually explode. Laying around on the couch today did help the progress of Telemark. Knitting without guilt…. illnesses have their rewards!
OK, I’ll bite. What is lice stitch? I’m an Aussie, and I don’t think that stitch is in our terminology.

I read your title, and immediately thought, “Oh, NO!” Then I realized what you really meant. You got me…
Oooh…very nice. The Dale sweater I have been working on for Kevin since umm…2000 has no lice stitch! I think I was happy with his choice for that reason. However, it has endless rows of stockinette on itty bitty needles.
Gee, I saw the title of this post and actually thought someone had lice! Silly. Hope you feel better soon. We have all had something at our house for the past few weeks, too.
BTW–LOVED your Eris photos. It looks great on you!
