So, I’ve got a metric ton of blog posts swirling around in my head. Time to get them all blogged before my brain explodes. Sorry about loading up the blog all in one day.
Last weekend we started by having a party!
Celebration Cake
We celebrated Anna Grace’s graduation from speech therapy with great friends, cake and ice cream.
Then we had to rise and shine on Saturday and get to work.
Our church has been renting space from a local YMCA since forever but not any longer. A new place had been located and a build out was done specifically for our church. This past weekend was to be our first Sunday at our new church “home” and we were all totally thrilled. With the big event going on for Sunday, this meant that there was a lot of last minute work to do on Saturday. So… big church work day… and a whole lot of fun.
Hampy was given the job of making sure this baby stayed happy.

And then…after lots of hard work…. we had a great treat. The long lost BFF came down from South Carolina for all of the celebration and her and her daughter Haley stopped by the church on their way into town. And I cried like a girly girl.

Sunday came and it was a fantastic day. I did my first stint of leading the kids in worship and I only messed up fifty bazillion times instead of the 75 bazillion times that I had predicted. And the kids actually sang along (Phew!).
Anna Grace found a new hat lyin’ around the new church
Dana enjoyed his first day helping out with the toddler’s class.
And to finish off the day we all went to Hammy and Hampy’s for hamburgers on the grill, iced tea, and time with great friends.
