My mother came to visit a few days ago and we had a nice time hanging out, drinking coffee and doing  a little shopping.  Yesterday she joined us as we got together with our friends for a little dessert and fireworks.  Lori hosted, she had some wonderful desserts, even some sparklers for the kids.  We then all walked down to the lake for fireworks….complete with patriotic music  this year…woo hoo.
