Oops…. I kinda disappeared on ya. Sorry about that. Got distracted.
OK, let’s do a little review of our Independence Day (also known as the day the Pacific Northwest proved it does have the ability to be hotter than Hades, it just chooses not to brag about it.)
We had made a plan that we would go up and do this hike that is about 2 hours north of here. Dana had brought it up and then Dorothy recommended it as well. So we were all set. We’re going to get up early, drive up there, do the hike and get back before it got too late at night.
Then we slept in.
So we hiked to Goat Falls instead.
AG and I had gone here once before. It is near the Crystal Mountain ski resort and it is a pretty easy little hike. One guy on one of the water fall sites acts like it is a waste of time but the whole hike goes along this creek and there are lots of little water falls en route to the main attraction.
(Am I rambling? I think I’m rambling.)
Here are some photos….

I say side A and Side B because the water comes through this rock/crevice thing and then splits off. Some run over one water fall, some run over another. Then they all meet up back in the same creek.
All in all it was a nice little hike. After this we headed back, stopped in Greenwater for a snack and then got some lunch.
