I Want to Scream!

Typepad is not fixing the comment problem.  Each day they send me a response to my "help ticket".  Each day that response doesn’t reach me.  Each day I log in to read the response that was never sent to me.  Each day that response says the same exact thing. "It’s a top priority".  "We hope to have it fixed soon".

News flash, people.  Soon?  It has been a week since this problem developed.  I think we’ve passed the boundaries of "soon".  Really.

As you can imagine, my polite responses to their lack of responsiveness have come to an end.  Now my responses are developing a sharp tone.  I’m over it. 

What I think they don’t realize is that their steadfast refusal to answer direct questions makes it appear that they are either not terribly honest or not terribly bright.  I kinda think this is not the image their PR folks had in mind.  I know that I would be a lot less frustrated if they would just say "we have no idea what is wrong and no concept as to how to fix it."  The truth goes a lot further with me than evasiveness.

Just a thought.
