Today is a federal holiday. We have a good chunk of orders that came in late Saturday and then yesterday. Plus, another big batch came in today. But there’s one teensy tiny problem.
Today is a federal holiday and the US postal service is closed. So…. all of your orders will be mailed out tomorrow.
This little holiday has me all messed up. I’m a very routine oriented person and days like this just reveal how dependent I am on keeping a schedule or regular order of events. I am so out of whack today and disorganized. Ugh.
(Dear postal service…please come back to work. My brain is too foggy without my silly little routine!!!!)
I had the exact same problem. I have two packages to mail out, and I made it all the way TO the post office doors before I noticed it was closed and the note on the door saying why.
This after forgetting that the PO is closed on Sundays and reading the exact same note just yesterday. Where’s my sign…
And it doesn’t help that the rest of life goes on like nothing’s happening…I honestly forgot that it was a holiday completely!
