Anna Grace has issues with snow.  She refuses to walk on it, thinks it feels funny, etc.  Lately I have not been allowing her to avoid the stuff.  Anytime we’ve had to walk across a small patch (i.e. up at Mowich Lake, up by Chinook Pass) I’ve made her go forward on her own two feet.  I provide support but she needs to walk it.   I’ve only been enforcing this for  a few days.  Well today she finally decided that maybe there are some benefits to this snow stuff afterall.  While we were at Reflection Lake she decided to actually play in the stuff.

Since she likes throwing rocks, especially throwing rocks into water, I introduced her to the concept of a snowball.  I began throwing small snowballs into the water and she became more and more intrigued.  I guess Mommy’s not so dumb afterall!
