Last week I was watching Dave, snuggling in for a good night’s sleep (RIGHT!), and all of a sudden I heard something that about knocked me right out of bed.  Oprah is going on Letterman.  I have followed this saga through the years as Dave has begged and pleaded.  I remember the Oprah notebook.  I remember folks calling into the Ticked Off column of the Orlando Sentinel complaining that Oprah wouldn’t give Dave a break.  So, I’m stayin’ up (and setting the TIVO just in case…. love my TIVO…. TIVO never lets ya down) and I have got to see this. 

In the knitting file… what books/patterns/sources do y’all like for quick knitted gifts.  By knitted gifts I mean things that are reasonable….not ridiculous…and made in a weekend or so.  I spent the afternoon at Border’s looking at books about quickie knits, knitted gifts, etc and there are a lot of things out there that if I knitted it and gave it to someone I would never be able to show my face again!!!!!  Some of them I actually laughed out loud when I saw them.  So… what’s y’all’s choice resource?
