The canyon is 10 miles long, more than 1 mile wide and more than 3600 feet deep.

If you watched many episodes of Fantasy Island then these falls may look familiar.  They were featured in the opening of every show.

And there was knitting….

Since we were in the car for long portions of the day this was a sock knitting day.  I dug out the Socks that Rock socks in basic stockinette stitch.  I finished the leg portions, turned the heels and picked up the gussets.  I then started cruising for the toes.
