One year.  One whole year.  Wow, lots of changes in one year.

One year ago I started my humble little blog and I named it the Knitting Wannabe.  The name came from the sense I had of "who the heck do I think I am starting a knitting blog when I can barely knit!!!".  It has been much fun.  I never imagined I would meet folks and form relationships like I have.  I never dreamed I would meet folks in person and that a group of knitters would help me through some very trying months and do their best to support me in my  recent upheavel. 

It has been quite an experience.  I had doubts whether anyone would ever read my blog.  I mainly thought it was an outlet for writing, expressing myself, etc.  I’ve gone from wishing I was running with the big dogs to loving the readership I have and being thankful that I’m kinda an independent of sorts. 

I love my blog.  I love knitbloggers.  I’m not the same knitter.  I’m not the same person.  Much has changed in a year.

So….  to my little, humble blog
