The cut out cardi is on the blocking board. The russet colored thing on the blocking board is my gauge swatch for Eris.
Ignore the mess. This is the current state of our extra bedroom. Ten gazillion boxes. I like to keep the door shut to this room. That way its easier to pretend that pixies arrived in the night and unpacked all of those boxes. Speaking of pixies, it seems one had to get her face in the photo.
So glad to hear you’re on the mend. I do love Pike Place Market, although I don’t get there that often. I rarely buy anything, but I love the sights and sounds and colors, and yes, the flying fish! Have you discovered Acorn Street Yarn shop yet? It’s in the University District, not far from University Village. By the way, our local guild had a spin-in last weekend and Weaving Works was there with wheels and roving, etc. I’m not a spinner yet, but boy, was I tempted. Maybe when I finish school.
Wow! I am so impressed with your productivity…except the boxes. But we always took our time. Heck. I think we finally just unpacked the last one we brought back from the UK over 6 years ago!
