OK… most of the April to-do list was finished but not all of it.
The cut-out cardi was finished.
A new 2 socks on 2 circs was started (That would be the Saturday Harbor Total Foul Up Socks)
I did learn to do short row heels
I did swatch Eris but did not start her up until May
I ignored the great sock experiment.
What is the great sock experiment?
Well, I have all these leftovers from socks that I’ve knit. It seems to me that I might have enough of each (or fairly close to enough) to make a pair of toddler socks. So, I was wondering if instead of knitting 2 socks on 2 circs could I knit 4 socks on 2 circs if they were small… like toddler socks. In other words: Knit 2 PAIR of socks at the same time instead of just knitting 2 socks at the same time.
This idea brought me to a realization: While I love knitting and I love learning new things, there is a huge part of me that is a product knitter not a process knitter. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I’m done.
Next up? May to-do list (which will be short and lame)
If APril showers bring May flowers, what do May showers bring?? Depression!! Thank goodness I can stay inside and knit!
