Today has been quite clear outside.  I think folks around here think its actually springish.  In comparison to what the weather has been like over the past 6 weeks I can understand their misguided assessment.  However, it is still a bit nippy out there, though I seem to be the only who thinks so.

Because it is so clear the mountain has been in full view all day long.  A few weeks back Dana, AG and I took a drive toward Mowich Lake (via Carbonado) and saw some beautiful views of the mountain but had no camera with us.  Eventually we had to turn back because the road was blocked by snow.

Today we decided to drive that way  again.  We were able to get much farther along the road and saw some awesome views.  It was a bit adrenaline inducing though because this is a narrow gravel road with no guard rails.  It doesn’t pay to look down.
