O is for Office Supplies.
I have an office supply addiction. Every new idea, project, reorganization etc. requires a new notebook, new pens, etc. Now, Anna Grace has significantly slowed my consumption of office supplies. I could wander the aisles of a Staples or Office Depot for hours but AG isn’t so fond of such things. Today (Thursday) I actually got to go to Staples, if only for a brief moment, and it felt like home. I love the smell of highlighters in the morning.
Recently Lorette wrote a post discussing highligthter tape. I think I may have actually had heart palpitations and broke out in a cold sweat. I have been obsessed ever since. I can resist it no longer, I’m ordering some of this stuff off the internet.
So, buying pens, pencils, etc makes me just happy. So…. O is for Office Supplies.
I love office supplies too. It’s that sense that all things are possible when you are completely organized, and when the pencils are all sharp and the notebooks have no frayed edges. Remember the thrill of a brand-new box of crayons with all the points perfect? I am still drawn to a new box of colored pencils…the more colors, the more thrill.
It seems a lot of knitters also have office supply obsession. I wonder what it is? I received some highlighter tape in a secret pal swap and I absolutely love it. Words cannot express. I haven’t found it yet at Office Max – let me know where you order it.
You and me both!!!!..try Target, too…those cute little round paperclips…what a perfect ‘O’!
Do you have the link for the place I ordered the highlighter stuff? I just love it. It works on regular patterns, too, not just charts. Keeps you in the right paragraph of the pattern, so you’re not decreasing for the armholes where you should be increasing for the sleeves.
