This week Anna Grace’s school is learning about Pilgrims, Indians, Thanksgiving and the importance of having a thankful heart. There was a big Thanksgiving meal today (with kid friendly food) but we skipped it to go to speech. Anyway…. AG made a little Indian headband at school and tonight she was wearing it around the house.
Then Anna Grace decided that her ensemble did not have the historical accuracy that she would like. So she decided to fix that. By adding a Hawaiian grass skirt.
And then she started dancing. We got a lot of entertainment over this. And…. to be quite honest, this helped to elevate the mood around here. It’s hard to have a heavy heart for very long when you live with a 3 year old comedienne.
She does have a fashion sense, doesn’t she? Way cute! Just be glad she’s not going to school in Seattle. Teachers there have been instructed NOT to celebrate Thanksgiving. Instead they’ve been told to lecture kids on the brutal way the white man treated the Indians. Political correctness run amok!
If you look at the picture of AG there on the left near the header and then the pics today…WOW! How much she’s grown and changed. Still one of the most adorable kids around. :o)
Must ask…did she intend the grass skirt to be a grass one while playing or was it faux leather?
Thanks for the laughs.
go AG!! I love dress up! so sorry about fbs.
She. Is. So .Cute. I can’t believe how much she’s grown up! We’ll be in Orlando the end of Dec. through the middle of Jan, maybe we can see each other sometime? I hope so! Such a cutie!!!
