Yellow Town

That’s Anna Grace speak for "Yellowstone".

I got an internet connection hooked up so I’ll post as much as I can while I’ve got the chance!

We spent 2 days in Yellowstone, loved every minute of it.  I’ll probably divide this into a few different posts because of the amount of photos.

Lewis Falls:

This is near the south entrance to Yellowstone.  This is also the site of our next family accident.  My mother slipped on the walkway to the viewpoint for the falls.  She landed with her ankle/foot twisted behind her.  Yes…. THAT ankle…. the ankle that was broken into a million pieces last spring…. THAT ankle.  She was a little sore, bruised her wrist, a wee swollen afterwards but overall was okay.

Old Faithful:

(These pictures are huge even though I shrunk them.  Sorry about that!  When I get back to using my usual computer the photos can get back to their usual…. faster loading…. size.)

Middle Geyser Basin:

We stopped here right at dusk and enjoyed the scenery and the sunset.

The steaming water from the geyser and springs trickles down the hill into the river.

  1. Gorgeous! You take lovely photos!
I went to the new knitting group last night at the shop just up the street. Fun, though nearly all the women there had at least 15-20 years on me, I think. Hope you’re close to getting settled in.
