A while back I got an invite to Ravelry. (HOOT!). But I couldn’t get in. It kept asking me to choose a password. I did. It then told me that passwords can only be letters or numbers and no symbols. The password I had chosen was only numbers. Still it kept giving me the little lovenote.
I gave up.
Then I read all about how wonderful Ravelry is….over and over again. And I want in.
So I go back today and try again. I was trying to use the same username I had tried before and same password. I got the same lovenote. On a fluke, I tried a different username and the same password. I got in. HOOT!
Now the problem….. I can’t change my user name. I was trying to use Knitting Wannabe but now I’m SonnyShear. I would rather have the name of the blog and not the business name be my i.d. otherwise I think it seems a bit cheesy. But, I think I’m stuck with SonnyShear.
Dang the technology…and dang my little mentality of "lemme see what would happen if I did this".
Dang it.
You might try emailing the folks who set this up. They probably can change it for you.
The issue was probably that you can’t use spaces in your username… As Lorette said, just email us and we can change it for you!
