Has anyone ever knit anything by this designer?
I have an interst in this pattern (although I may be too old and too chunky for such a thing). And what’s with the dpn thingie as a clasp/closure?
I really like the pattern, it looks pretty summery but I suppose that it would need a tank underneath it. When you consider that I am moving to Florida well…..we don’t really like to layer up our summer clothes. It leads to lots of sweat and stinkiness. Just sayin’
Still, I can’t stop looking at this pattern. Someone tell me something awful about it so I can stop gazing at it and dreaming of all the lovely handpainted yarns I could use.
Help me.
Somebody?
Anybody?
Bueller?
Bueller?
I’ve never knit anything by that designer, but I think it’s a really cute pattern. Even though you said you were moving to FL, it would look nice with a t-shirt underneath, too. I don’t think it’s a youngish, thinnish pattern at all. It would look good on all body types. Good luck.
Add sleeves, knit it in cotton, and voila! WINTER Florida sweater!
It looks like she’s wearing it over a bathing suit top. that would be cute and not too hot.
Maybe you could just lengthen it and make it an official bathing suit cover-up.
It’s BEAUTIFUL!!! My favorite colors, too. I love it, and will bookmark it for knitting later this summer. I’d wear it over a tight fitting long sleeved scoop neck top, myself.

Update: I have placed an order for this pattern in an Amethyst colorway. I’m very excited!!!
I have never seen that before myself! But I totally like it!
Living in FLorida myself it is hot and nasty. Those good ole thunderstorms have been hitting early making it muggy ALL day long. Yuck!
That thing will definatly be awesome down here.
I think that it is an awesome pattern! It something I would totally love to make.
You are definitely not chunky. And I think you could just wear a little camisole thingie under it and get away with it. It’s very pretty.
Or you could just stay here, in which case I suppose it would rarely get warm enough to wear it.
oh oh oh I know I know I know!! It’s not a DPN I have done the same thing!!! It’s a TOOTHPICK!!! On of those giant rustic ones with the bark still on it they use at some Steak house!!! I kept mine and stuck it in my jewerly box and about 2 weeks ago used it as a shawl pin!! It works great!!!
