Blogiversary

Two years ago today I started this little blog.  I find it hard to believe how much has changed in 2 years.

Here’s a small list…..

Had an inkling that something was wrong with my daughter.  Couldn’t get anyone to listen.
Daughter diagnosed with developmental delay, then autism, then back to developmental delay.
Told daughter would never speak.  Then she did.
Daughter eventually correctly diagnosed with apraxia.
Apraxia begins to resolve.
Daughter talking non-stop.
Dana changes jobs.
I quit job.
Did the single parent thing for 6 months.
Moved from Florida to Pacific Northwest.
Said good-bye to Spike.
Stepfather’s health fails.
Daughter grows up… a little too fast.
Sell house, buy house.
Opened a yarn shop.
Grandfather got remarried.
Learned to spin (although not that well).
Dad ‘s happy now.
Met other bloggers
Grandparents can no longer live independently
Lost a lot of weight
Gained back all of weight
Explored much of Washington state

I think the biggest change has been that I have learned that I am a stronger person than I ever thought.  And that crying or grieving over something doesn’t mean that you are not strong.  It just means you’re normal.

So, with all those changes, I think we can safely say that life has been a bit of an adventure.  So what will our next adventure be?????
