I had a transition meeting today. A transition meeting is when your child is getting ready to be too old for early intervention and you need to plan how they are going to move over to the school system. In other words, it is when you go to the district to discuss how you are going to sell your child to the devil accept everything they have to offer and never question anything. (Don’t you just love my positive attitude?) So I went to the school. Met the school psychologist. Saw AG’s future classmates. It wasn’t a great experience. I kept my mouth shut and moved on.
I did have a clue that things were not going to be great. What was the first thing I saw when I walked into the school office? A statement stenciled on the wall (in huge letters) over the desk . Here it is, word for word, letter for letter.
We Educate People the Worlds Needs.
I. Kid. You. Not.
I am not the most grammatically correct individual but I do tend to proofread things before I PAINT THEM ON MY WALL!!!!!! IN A SCHOOL!!!!!!!!
