I had just finished the chest motif at this point. The directions had me a bit confused and still do. For some reason I save these stiches and then start knitting a piece behind them that will become the steek. Seems to me if I am going to steek something why save any stitches. I read the instructions over and over. I think these stiches are saved because of the polo style color that is knit in place. It appears that these stiches may become that collar.
no clue. but i will ask my mom to take a look. i remember that lighthouse. we didn’t stay on that side of the island. my aunt lives in Kekaha. Closer to the canyon.
