A drive by posting….

1.  I have now officially reached the "full blown" (no pun intended) status of this cold/sinus thing.  I’m hatin’ life.

2.  Election day today.   Means no election commercials tomorrow. Yeah!!!

3.  I’ve been working on Telemark.  I have proof.  I’m now in the lice invested area ( in other words doing repeated rounds of the lice stitch pattern… please let them rename that part!)

This will be the last sighting of Telemark for a little while.  For the next few days all you’d be able to see is more and more lice stitch.  I’ll post another photo when I complete that part.

4.  Remember that diet I was on… and the exercise plan as well??? That’s been derailed a bit.  I don’t feel good so I thought I’d do a little scientific experiment.  My hypothesis?  Cheese Nips and lots of chocolate candy have an antiviral affect on the human body.  Result?  Nope!  but it was fun trying.

5.  I haven’t rowed.  See above whiny and pitiful complaints.

6. Got the blahs.  No sunshine.  There was sun a bit west of us, I saw a smidge of it peeking through.  No sun for Enumclaw.  Dana had the nerve to call me from work to alert me that the sun was out.  In his defense he was hoping that the sun was "out" in Enumclaw.  I informed him of the error of his ways.

7.  Last night I promised Anna Grace that I’d buy her a sportscar if she’d let me sleep until 10 a.m.  No sportscar for her but she did sleep until almost nine.  Not too shabby.

8.  Speech.  The speech is abounding in this house.  We have sentences and statements and sauciness and narrative.  We have a kid that I don’t think will qualify for services in the school system.  We’ll see.  If she doesn’t qualify because she’s almost at age level then I’m cool with it.  If it’s because she just missed the cut…. not so much.  But I’m thrilled over this surge.  Stunned but thrilled.

11.  I’m sure you’ve seen the national news that makes it appear as if the entire western half of Washington is floating away.  There is a lot of flooding but life here hasn’t been affected much.  I noticed the White River had gotten a ton higher.  We have to cross that river to head to church, knitting, AG’s nursery school, etc.  I think the road is pretty safe though, that bridge is several feet above the water level. 

We also drive accross the Green River valley to go to therapy each week.  They haven’t mentioned the Green River on the news that much.  I figured since it ran through a gorge maybe it wasn’t in danger of flooding.  Dana drove through the valley today and said that there is a part of the valley that is blocked off.  I guess it did crest somewhere.

12.  That’s all I’ve got for today.  I’m off to  La La land (I hope).  Tomorrow is therapy and playgroup.  I somehow have to find the energy to keep up.
