I refused to give up.
I stood my ground.
I put up a good fight.
I surrender.
Typepad…. you win.
They keep pointing their fingers at earthlink. Earthlink points right back to them. I had tons of comments on the blog that I just stumbled upon. They were never sent to me. Typepad says if I wasn’t an earthlink customer that all my problems would be solved. Liar, liar! Pants on Fire!
I don’t want to give up earthlink. I’m not going to give up earthlink. But I will get a new email address. And, as you can see, it is a domain name. So, I’m making no commitments. But my little typepad contract comes up for renewal in the spring. Spring is such a great time for new beginnings….. new beginnings WITHOUT TYPEPAD!!!!!! I might (or might not) move my blog to my own domain name. For now, there’s nothing there. It’s just a snazzy way of getting me a new email address… and possibly preparing for the future.
So… here’s the new email: Kris (at) knittingwannabe (dot) com. (Did I do that right so the spammers won’t get it???? If not, let me know. )
My father is now officially rolling his eyes. He says I change email addresses too much. (Hi Dad! ) I’m not changing everything. All the earthlink addresses stay the same. I am just bowing down to Typepad’s lying-like-a-dog-in-the-mud stupidity.
Hello,
I came across your blog while searching for RN blogs. I am fairly new to blogging. I started a knitting blog then decided to start a nursing blog.
You really have had more problems with typepad than should be allowed. It makes no sense that typepad is incompatible with earthlink. That sounds like a lame excuse on their part.
Hi! I’m in Seattle and just took Shirley’s spinning class. It would be fun to see if you are still spinning and did you buy a wheel? I am trying to figure out what to buy!
Lauri (Madame DeFarge)
just kind of weird because I was one a Typepad person and had no problem with my Earthlink!?
