K is for…. Knitting

I’ve been knitting for almost 2 years and I love every minute (well, almost every minute) of it.   Here’s the latest progress shot of Eris.  The trunk portion is finished and I’m getting ready to start the "hem" which consists of cabled insets.  Woo Hoo.

K is for… Kris (duh!) or Krispy. 

When I was just out of high school I worked for a year or so with the postal service.  One of my co-workers was quite hard of hearing.  When he asked me my name he misunderstood what I said and just thought I had a strange name.  (At the time I went by Kristy instead of the shortened form.)  It took me weeks to figure out why this man kept calling me Krispy.  The poor guy got it just a bit mixed up. The nickname stuck for the entire time I worked there.

K is for… Kisses

Anna Grace has recently mastered the skill of giving kisses and I love every single last one of them.  She knows this so, of course,  she is very selective about when she actually graces you with one of her kisses.  Here she is in action.

So… K is for Knitting, Kris, Krispy and, best of all, Kisses.
