as in.. I’m tuckered out.
I weeded every single itty bitty flower bed within this yard. My back hurts, my hands hurt, my legs hurt but its worth it to have that ugly little job completed. I was only going to do one flower bed today and spread the whole mess of a job over about 2 weeks. But I got started and then did a little more and then a little more and then came to the conclusion that I would rather just get it over with. So I weeded, I trimmed and I got down right filthy. I also have my first official farmer’s tan of the season which can only mean one thing.
THE SUN WAS OUT TODAY!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOOOOOOOOOO!
Dana came home from work and he brought home the first batch of mulch. Folks round these parts don’t seem to mulch their yards much but I am determined to keep those weeds under control. Therefore I am implementing a little Florida gardening action: must have mulch! While Dana mulched one of the flower beds and I sat in a lawn chair and watched him work. I also did a bit of work on Eris. Here she is….

I told y’all last week that I had finished the yoke but I was lyin’ like a dog. Actually I thought I had finished the yoke but that’s only because I was lacking a proper understanding of the anatomy of garments. I have just divided off the sleeves from the body so I think it is now safe to say that I have finished the yoke. Or I may still be misinformed.
Well, must go. Need to knit, and relax and enjoy gazing upon the last remaining sunshine from today.
Eris is looking beautiful! We worked in the garden today too. Gotta grab the sun while you can.
