We arrived about an hour before our ferry was to leave so we headed to Mickey D’s and got a tee niny snack. After that we loaded up back in the car, drove on the ferry and let the fun begin. Anna Grace loves, loves, loves being on the ferry. Her fellow passengers are not as impressed as she is. She runs all over the deck, screams, laughs, climbs the stairs and basically runs amuck. She even insists on staying out in the open and playing in the rain. I try to be a good sport but in all truth… its freezing out there! So, Dana keeps up with her.
I think all this joy comes down to the wind. She loves the wind. Some of the funniest footage I have of her on video was during Hurricane Jeanne. This storm took 18 hours to pass over and for the weather to calm down. We got stir crazy and I went out on our front porch with Anna Grace. Each time the wind gusts she just giggles. (She was 6 months old). Anyway, I think the wind on the ferry is one of the reasons Anna Grace loves it so much.
Enough rambling, here’s the photos.
Seattle skyline (Lovely weather we’re having, isn’t it??!!!)
Running amuck on the ferry
Cargo ship through the mist (a.k.a. rain)
Sitting still for half a millisecond
Who’s child is that playing in the rain?? No child of mine would ever be out playing in the rain!
Marching in the rain
