OK, I’m catching up finally.
I is for…..
Irish
(I’m sorry. I searched all the weeds in the yard today and that’s the closest I can come to a clover.)
I’m of Irish heritage so I is for Irish.
I is for…..
Itsy Bitsy Spider…
the border in my daughter’s room and the general theme to a book that (along with If You Give a Mouse a Cookie… Hey…. that’s another I…. IF You Give A Mouse a Cookie…) I read way too many times in one day:Itsy Bitsy the Smart Spider.
I is for….
Isaiah.
Some of my favorite verses are from the book of Isaiah. I especially like…
Isaiah 43: 2-3
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned
Nor shall the flame scorch you
For I Am the Lord your God
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
This concludes the I portion of the ABC Along.
I can identify with all of your I’s! I, too am of Irish heritage (maiden name – Malone) and of course, I’ve told you my experience with the Itsy Bitsy Spider. And I do love that verse from Isaiah. By the way, Lorette and I are trying to organize a get together some time this summer, so maybe we’ll get a chance to meet!
Thank you for sharing the verse from Isaiah, it was perfectedly timed.
Hoping AG gets better and stays that way SOON!
I like your “I’s”. That Isaiah is one my favorites as well.
I’m trying to get together dates for this summer that Dorothy can come down here to visit. I’ll copy you when I email her so we can plan.
I’m so sorry to hear about the ear tubes. That seriously sucks. “All done” indeed.
