I have been watching season finales tonight, keeping all the comcast-fake-don’t-really-work Tivo’s organized. Baby sitting them actually since the one in the bedroom likes to pretend that I was just kidding when I asked it to record something. Grey’s Anatomy messed up all my programming because it played its finale tonight instead of in its usual Sunday slot. That’s right… right now my life is revolving around T.V. It is a sad, sad existence. BUT… if you touch my remote I’ll break your hand.
On another note, there is knitting!
The other day I finished up the right side of Eris’s collar. Tonight I started the left side. This began with about an hour (and several frogging occurrences….ok… maybe there was some unladylike language but you have no evidence so just try and prove it!) consumed with picking up 31 stitches along the cast on edge of the right side. Getting each of the stitches picked up in the center of a stitch and making sure they all lined up right… well let’s just say that was a task that was just a wee bit beyond my level of skills and patience!
Here’s a photo of the current progress. It’s a bad photo. I need to take another one with just daylight because the flash and/or the overhead light is making the cable work disappear.
Remember when I said that the weather wonks first claimed that it was going to get in the mid eighties today and then went so far as to claim that it would be 91 degrees in Enumclaw today????
91 degrees?!!?? Oh really?????????!!!!!!!!
I’ve watched this bad boy all day long. It ain’t no stinkin’ 91 degrees!!!! Eighty has been our "high" for today.
Never trust the weather wonks!
Wow, you are doing awesome on Eris!!
Hey Kris; REAL ladies do use bad language! Eris is looking great.
And girl, 80 is a heat wave around here. When it gets to 70 we’re all wishing we had air conditioning.
