Dana is quite good when it comes to photography.  Most of the photos that I post of mountains, waterfalls, tulip festivals, etc were taken by him.  Especially if the photo was exceptional… then it was definitely taken by him.  Well,  he got a bit enamored with the mountain today and then he snapped a quickie picture of these little purple flowers in front of the house.  Here’s his photo essay for the day.

Photo of front flower bed.  Those little purple flowers are a bit washed out in this photo.  They are so vibrant they almost glow.  You can see them from the far end of the street.  The previous owner says she doesn’t know what they are called.  She took a small cutting from her late mother’s yard many years ago and now they’ve spread across all the rocks trimming this bed.  I don’t know what they are but I do like them!
