This weekend we’re going to go to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Anna Grace and I are going to pick Dana up at work this afternoon and we’re going to drive up to Burlington, Washington and stay the night. Tomorrow we’ll start the driving tour of all the tulip farms. It’s going to be raining. It’s going to be quite cold. It might (unlikely, but might) be snowing a tad. So what! I want to see the flowers.
We would just drive up tomorrow morning but its a 2 hour drive. I can’t see Anna Grace putting up with a 2 hour drive and THEN driving around to all the tulip farms. So, we’ll hang out in Burlington tonight. Get up tomorrow and take our time getting breakfast, heading out, etc. I’m excited about going. I know we’ll be cold but we’ll be cold if we stay in Enumclaw so might as well have some fun while we’re freezing to death.
Once it gets near time for Anna Grace’s nap tomorrow we’ll start heading back home. I think this plan will work out. If not, lesson learned.
