Leo gives the appearance of being done.
Here’s the plain version
Here’s the Lily version.
Like I said, Leo gives the appearance of being done. But… appearances can be deceiving. I stayed up a bit late to finish this collar. I unknitted all that I had knit yesterday afternoon. I then re-knitted the collar, bound off the stitches and hoped for the best. I went in and got Dana out of bed so he could try it on. Are you ready?
The collar and neck are now too big.
I unknit it because it was too small. (I feel like I am trapped in the knitting version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. This one’s too big… this one’s too small…..). When Dana was trying the thing on and it was too small, the circ was still in. I am wondering if it was sans circ if there’d be more elasticity and thus… he could get it on.
Whatever. I am going to spend my afternoon frogging the entire collar/neck. I’ll then start over. Lets hope that this version is just right.
Sorry about your neck trouble, that’s the part that I always get hung up on. It looks like it will be a great sweater when it is finished. I especially like the Lily version.
Welcome to Cirque du Socks! I can’t wait to see the Lily version of your socks.
It’s like Grounghog Day, every day you wake up and have to knit the next again and again and again…..
You pics are so beautiful Kris, I’m glad Mr. Mountain came out!
And how could you keep that child away from her “beloved” Spike?
