First, how’s the March to-do list coming along?
Jaywalkers are done.
I did a smidge of knitting on the cut-out cardi sleeves. Just a smidge.
The alpaca twin rib scarf is currently about 14 inches long and languishing on the shelves in the family room. (Still no pictures. Me bad.)
Leo. Do we have to talk about Leo?
Both sleeves are severed and no longer have their extra baggage.
One sleeve is complete. One sleeve is making my life miserable. So, Leo was banished to the knitting bag until he can learn to behave himself!
Spinning. I have been spinning.
I finished up the blue and white alpaca that I bought last weekend. Now I need to spin up one of the others that I bought and give plying a try. Woo Hoo.
This concludes the March status report. I currently have six days to get Leo’s sleeve fixed, fix his neck, and weave in a few ends. I also have six days to get the alpaca twin rib scarf measuring about 18 inches in length. Other than that I am on track.
You are truly becoming a fearless fiber woman!!
Hi Kris
Are you very far from Seattle? Is it beginning to get warmer now? I haven’t done any knitting for a while, it’s been too warm, but it’s autumn here now so I guess I’ll be getting into it again soon.
I’ve heard of once a month cooking- can you tell me more about it? What sort of recipes dp you use and how do you shop for it? How long does it take to prepare the meals?
Thanks Kris
Ruth
